 The Venture is a traditional village pub situated in a pleasant location near the cricket ground and bowling green. There used to be a lodge belonging to the 'Venture Coal Mine' on this site and the pub was built in a similar style. We re-opened following a refurbishment and re-branding to Flaming Grill concept in Summer 2010. Sample our menu with great value meals in lovely surroundings. Outside we also have new furniture perfect for warmer days. The 'air quality' has been installed to ensure a fresher atmosphere. We have an attractive decked patio area with heaters and outdoor seating. This being the ideal place in the summer to enjoy your quality meal.
