 The
Stanley Gate in Bickerstaffe lies off the busy main road
through to Southport with a small local estate just down the road. Fully
refurbished to a high standard in early 2009, this was originally
a farmhouse built in the 1900's this is a pub with character and nice old features
such as original beams and 2 fireplaces. We
employ high quality Chefs who have superb kitchen facilities. Freshly
prepared food
can be chosen from a main menu or unique Specials from the chalk boards
which allow our Chefs to show their flair! The team of staff have been
here for quite a while and are chatty and very welcoming to everyone.
There is an informal, convivial atmosphere here which is felt as soon as you
walk in the door. Outside there is a garden where you can relax in the summer sunshine. Come and see us soon, have a bite to eat with us
