The Stamford
Arms is a quintessentially English village pub situated in
a picturesque location opposite the beautiful St Mary's Church. At
over 200 years old this Grade II listed building has a white washed exterior and low
beamed ceilings inside. There is a separate function room, catering for up
to 175 people, which is the perfect place for weddings, birthday parties and
other special events. The pub attracts all ages but usually a slightly older crowd
as it serves good food and additional chef's specials which are all homemade.
Our welcoming clientele and staff create a female
friendly and trouble free environment for newcomers to try out. The
Stamford Arms is also an excellent place to
get together to watch the big match or other favourite sporting events on
