The Red Lion
is to be found close to Junction 4 of the M61 in
Over Hulton, near Bolton. This very old building was rebuilt in 1905 and
was a Mail House prior to becoming a pub. Adjoining cottages have been
added to make this the substantial venue it is today. We are able to offer
facilities for every age group and cater for the needs of everyone. We
have a Wacky Warehouse for the younger family members. Another area is devoted to being female friendly with comfy
sofas for women to relax with a drink The Sports zone can accommodate 50
seated or 100 standing to watch the major matches on the big screen. This
is a very popular pastime with travelling football supporters and coach parties
who stop here to enjoy the atmosphere. Meals for the whole family
can be chosen any day of the week from our extensive menu. Come and try us out next time
