Photo Coming SoonThe Old Pelican Inn is a large pub and, being over 100 years old, we have plenty of history which is explained on a board outside.  Located on the main road through the built up area of West Timperley, the pub is midway between Altrincham and Sale.  With other pubs being a mile in either direction we are a popular venue for many different people.  The Old Pelican Inn is ideally situated for those going to Old Trafford, which is only 3½ miles away.  We welcome both Man City and Man United supporters who all get along with each other.  Refurbished in November 2005, our trouble free and female friendly atmosphere attracts families for dining, particularly for Sunday lunch as well as business people during the week.  Weekdays see locals coming in for a drink and to watch sport.  At the weekend we also attract students.  The pub has an open plan layout with two raised areas.  Food is served throughout the pub and is available from a varied John Barras menu everyday.  There is a food promotion goes down well with couples and groups.  Come to watch the sport, have a drink with friends or colleagues and of course try a wholesome meal whilst your here, too.  See you soon.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
