The New Inn is a quaint, ivy clad country inn built in the 1600's.
It comprises
of a lounge bar, featuring oak beams, an open log fire and separate non
smoking restaurant. We pride ourselves on providing food which is all homemade
from fresh and local produce. The New Inn is situated in the unspoilt village of Yealand Conyers in an
area of outstanding natural beauty, close to R.S.P.B. Leighton Moss nature
reserve. Built to replace the original village ale house destroyed by Cromwell
in the 1600's, the fireplace incorporates part of an old stone mullioned window
from the original building. It is believed to be haunted. A warm
welcome awaits you at the The New Inn.
