Millers in
Hollingworth is situated to the side of Hollingworth
Lake Country Park in the South Pennine moorland area. The Park is very
popular with visitors who come to enjoy the variety of leisure activities
available such as water sports, cycle rides and rambles along the network of
footpaths and trails. The pub was built in 1801, at the same time as the
lake. It is a mix of traditional and modern with an open plan layout
inside which leads to the restaurant. This is very much a destination food
house on the tourist route. Meals are chosen from an extensive main menu
and there is a good range of wines to complement your meal. The food deal
is particularly popular. Most of the pub is non smoking for your
comfort. This is a great place to come and relax in beautiful surroundings
with no loud music or TVs to interrupt the conversation! There is a beer
garden for the summer months and an outdoor play area to allow our younger
visitors the chance to run off their energy whilst you chill out in the
sunshine. If you are looking for a place to hold a private party or get
together then we have a room suitable for up to 100 people. There are many
reasons why you must come and try out Millers very soon.
