English Ale Festival in celebration of St George.
Come and take part in our new English Ale Festival, running
until the 28th May. As well as a number of English cask ales you
can request us to source locally brewed beers! In addition to
superb beers we have launched a newsletter with lots of helpful
information. You can also take part in our collector scheme,
whereby if you purchase 9 festival bitters you will be entered
into a free prize draw to win a limited edition glass tankard
engraved with the Festival logo. |

In the country, off the
main Chorley to Southport road you will come across The
Highfield. This is a very large, attractive pub, which
changed to a Two For One in 2001 and was again refurbished in 2005.
Offering the highest standards our food is well worth trying in the 208 seater restaurant. The Two for One deal lets you simply order two
adult main meals and get the cheapest one free. To complement your meal we have a good
selection of beverages and, of course, a wide range of quality
pints. To cater for our younger customers we have both an indoor
building, the Fun House and an outside play area. For a
small charge children up to 4ft 9ins tall can use the Fun House's modern
games and equipment. The free outside play area for the older
children is enclosed and very safe. The best pub in the area, in
all respects, everyone is welcome.
