 The Guild is situated on
the outskirts of Preston town centre, close to the student area and university. This
Grade
II listed building was originally a monastery. It has the look of a haunted house on the hill
with it's old red brick and gothic style windows. Outside there is a
large beer garden which is extremely popular throughout the summer months.
Having tables and benches for about 250 people, there is plenty of room for everyone to enjoy a relaxing
drink or meal al fresco. Eclectically styled, the pub has a traditional theme
with wooden floors throughout and an open plan layout divided into separate
zones. There is a place to dine and a Sports area with pool table and
plasma screens showing all major matches. We are well known for
entertainment and have a
very well attended weekly quiz night with a 'Deal or No Deal' style quiz for
cash following the pub quiz. You can dine throughout the pub, with a good
range of pub food available from the main menu. Free buffets can also be arranged for parties of
ten or more people,
so give us a call to arrange your party. Our clientele include many
regular locals, students and passers by so why not call in if you are in the area.
We are well worth a visit.
