Griffin PhotoThe Griffin is a traditional village pub, opposite Bowdon church, drawing the majority of it's customers from the up market surrounding area.  Fully refurbished in March 2007, with soft pastel colours of blues, greens and beiges and more defined zones, including comfy seating areas with leather sofas etc.  The garden has also doubled in size, which has created an excellent alfresco dining opportunity.  We have a reputation for being an excellent place to eat and a local meeting place.  At the weekends we are a popular venue with the younger crowd but maintain a relaxed and trouble free atmosphere.  Food is available every day from a main menu and Monday - Saturday brunch is served, and a well stocked bar offers a selection of beers, bottles and real ales.  Why not finish your weekend break with the Griffin's quiz?  With facilities for the disabled and children being welcome there is something for everyone.  You will certainly not be disappointed.
