WORKING
WITH THE COMMUNITY |
The Gorse Hill is already
working with the community - With two football teams 5 to 16 year olds
and another for the 17+. Our teams have professional trainers and
managers and 2 players have already been picked up by scouts. We were
proud to win the league after the first year of running. Any local
youngsters interested in joining in are more than welcome to come along. |

Gorse Hill
is a great
Sports pub conveniently situated just fifteen minutes from the Old Trafford
football ground in Stretford. Originally an old Coaching House on the
Chester Road, the building has been extended over the years and was fully
refurbished in 2006. There is
all round screen vision with TVs and big screen positioned for maximum
visibility. There are also two pool tables and a darts board where
many a friendly game is played over a pint of the best. This is a
popular meeting place at weekends before going into town, although many stay
the popular classics disco with everything from 60's onwards. Proud of
our links with the local community, we have two youth football teams, which
give youngsters in the area something positive to do and work towards.
All are welcome to join in whatever their level, just ask us for details. Come along next time you are in the area and try a
quality drink or snack amongst friends. You will be given a fine
welcome.
