The
Farmers Arms is a good traditional country pub close to
the village of Parbold and a mere five to ten minutes drive from Junction 27
of the M6 motorway. Since a change of ownership in December 2007 the
pub has developed to become a family friendly venue where helpful staff give
a very warm welcome to all. Inside there is an open snug area which is
very cosy and a double sided open fire makes us an attractive retreat during
those cold winter months. For summer time there is a beer garden
outside with a play area to keep our younger visitors amused whilst the
grown ups chill out over a favourite drink. Having Cask Marque
accreditation means your real ale will always be served to the highest
standard. Food is freshly cooked to order and includes such favourites
as steak & ale pie, sausage & mash and steak along with Mediterranean dishes
like lasagne and pasta bake. Your meal can be enjoyed in the dining
area or elsewhere in the non smoking parts of the pub. Be sure to call
in and try us out next time you are in the area. You will certainly
want to return again and again.
