 The Famous Crown is situated in Didsbury
Village, not far from the centre of Manchester. Being one of 16 venues
on the road this one differs from the rest because it is not a concept pub,
more a traditional looking community local. As such it is very popular
with everyone. There is one main room with bar and the patio doors are
open onto the seating area during the summer months, weather permitting.
Meals are served from a main menu with occasional specials available.
The food offer is a real favourite. Passers by and local business
people call in at lunchtime to enjoy their break with us and chill out over
a meal or one of our quality drinks. For Sport fans we show all major
matches on the plasma and big screens. There is also a weekly quiz to
pit your wits against the others. Drop in next time you are in the
area and meet the sociable crowd at the Famous Crown.
