 Situated
in the 'Bare' area next to Morecambe you will find
The
Dog & Partridge. Conveniently positioned on a bus
route with the railway station just down the road, this is a locals based
pub which also attracts a fair few passers by. We re-opened Summer 2011
still with it's homely feel we had a lovely
refurbishment creating extra dining space. There is a good mixture
of ages and everyone is friendly, creating a happy, relaxed atmosphere.
The publicans have been awarded the Cask Marque in recognition of the
quality real ales served here. Local business people spend their lunch
breaks with us having a meal or a drink with colleagues. The area also has
a plasma screen installed for watching
all Sky sports games. Food chosen
from the main menu can be eaten anywhere in the pub. The pub is a one
bar operation with separate zones. Sport is shown on the various
screens around the pub. With all sorts of other entertainment planned come and see
the changes as they occur. You will be made very welcome. |
