 Situated
in the 'Bare' area next to Morecambe you will find the recently refurbished
Dog & Partridge. Conveniently positioned on a bus
route with the railway station just down the road, this is a locals based
pub which also attracts a fair few passers by. There is a good mixture
of ages and everyone is friendly, creating a happy, relaxed atmosphere.
The publicans have been awarded the Cask Marque in recognition of the
quality real ales served here. Local business people spend their lunch
breaks with us having a meal or a drink with colleagues. The pool
table has been removed to make space for extra seating / dining area for 14
to 20 people. The area also has a 32" LCD TV installed for watching
all Sky sports games. Food chosen
from the main menu can be eaten anywhere in the pub. The pub is a one
bar operation with separate zones. Sport is shown on the various
screens around the pub. With all sorts of other entertainment planned come and see
the changes as they occur. You will be made very welcome.
