The Didsbury is situated in the village suburb of
Manchester of the same name, surrounded by parkland. Originally a
Coaching House in 1793 it has maintained a traditional style with old
beams, open log fireplaces and comfortable background music.
Outside, the large beer garden used to be the old village green, but is
now enclosed with railings, and can be enjoyed almost all year
round with our giant parasols, heaters & lights. Like all Chef & Brewer pubs we employ high quality Chefs who have
superb kitchen facilities. The food can be chosen from a main menu
or unique Specials from the chalk boards which allow our Chefs to show
their flair! You will be served meals which have been prepared
from the freshest of ingredients and cooked to order. To complement your meal there is an
extensive choice of quality
wines or real ales and other drinks are available at the bar. Our clientele
include local business people, students and tutors from the nearby
college during the week. Ramblers and people from further afield
arrive at
weekends. You will rarely find this a quiet place as our
popularity for both food and drink keeps us very busy. We are even the backdrop for some film
opportunities! With customized menus available on special days, such
as Valentines Day and Mother's Day, this is a venue to be tried very
soon. Paul and Paula look forward to giving all new faces a very
warm welcome.
