 The Counting House was
originally a bank and converted to a pub in 1992. It is
situated on the promenade opposite North Pier. This is
the central area for Blackpool's busy nightlife and the Counting House is a
popular pub on the main circuit. It is particularly busy with tourists
and hen and stag parties at weekends. In summer the opening
hours are extended to give you more time to take advantage of the many drinks offers available. During
the day we are quite quiet making this a good choice for having a bite to
eat. Our party atmosphere comes alive in the evenings and especially at the
weekend. You can be entertained three nights a week by some really
good DJs who play the best music around! Sports enthusiasts are
also catered for with major events being shown on the two big
screens. Whether you are looking to have a relaxing drink with friends
or a night out in Blackpool, the Counting House should be your first port of
