If you are finding it difficult
to locate a good pub where children are made to feel truly welcome then look
no further than The
Cock. This is a family friendly, John Barras pub
located close to
the Trafford Centre. Since the refurbishment in 2006 we have a much
more open plan
appearance. This gives the pub a larger, brighter feel, with zoned areas, smoking and
non smoking sections and a sports area. There is something for everyone here!
Good pub food is served daily from an extensive menu with great prices, and
a weekly meal
deal. The pub is known for a more unusual attraction - the marked grave of a
piglet where people visit and bring flowers! For the adults we have a
well stocked bar, sport shown every day on plasma screens and a large pleasant
beer garden with ample seating for the summer. There are complete disabled facilities
and a conservatory which is suitable for use as a function room for large gatherings. Whenever you arrive
at the Cock, a warm welcome will be given by friendly staff and regulars.
