English Ale Festival in celebration of St George.
Come and take part in our new English Ale Festival, running
until the 28th May. As well as a number of English cask ales you
can request us to source locally brewed beers! In addition to
superb beers we have launched a newsletter with lots of helpful
information. You can also take part in our collector scheme,
whereby if you purchase 9 festival bitters you will be entered
into a free prize draw to win a limited edition glass tankard
engraved with the Festival logo. |

 The
Bay Horse is a quality food house with a country pub feel,
situated on
the main road in the village of Little Thornton. This is a very
popular place to bring friends and family when dining outside Blackpool.
Fully refurbished in May 2008
with a new brighter contemporary look, yet retaining traditional
touches. Brighter colours of browns, greens and creams, bucket seats to
relax on, poser tables and chairs along with freestanding furniture, all
go together to create a relaxed, informal environment. You can
enjoy a drink alone or with friends from our extensive selection.
We have a great new range of wines which are displayed in our feature
wine wall or enjoy a speciality coffee from our new coffee machine.
Meals are served from a new, extensive
menu in the 50 seater restaurant. Our Sunday roast is always worth
trying and we run a loyalty scheme whereby repeat customers receive a
discount. We also have a full range of weekly
entertainment from quizzes to a disco. Sport can be viewed on the big
screen with matches from many of the major sports channels. Because
we are so versatile we attract good local custom as well as newcomers
who come from the 2 adjoining caravan parks. Our beer garden is a
brilliant attraction in the summer months with seating for 150
people. You will find this a pub with a trouble free and family
friendly atmosphere. Women come here on their own to relax amongst
