 The Air Balloon is conveniently located on the first entrance
into the airport, close to Blackpool. The clientele are a good mix
of travellers and personnel from the flights, along with a regular locals
crowd who tend to call in from about 9.30pm. This is a family friendly
venue with an indoor Wacky Warehouse and an outdoor play area available to keep
our younger visitors entertained for hours! The new 'adult style Wacky'
was refurbished in 2006 to offer additional features for the parents
such as TVs, magazines, newspapers, adult music and comfy seating. The staff have had plenty of
experience with families and give a quality service to all. Refurbished in
2005, the decor is modern, clean and bright. Food is served from a
main menu with a choice of places to eat, including the newly decked area
outside with a massive 150 seats, umbrellas and heaters. The Two for One deal lets you simply order two adult
main meals and get the cheapest one free. Next time you are down this way, pop in for a drink or meal
and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the Air Balloon.
