our South African dishes which are delightful, a speciality is cooked in an
authentic iron lidded pot. Should you wish for something lighter

 The Woodman is situated not far from Junction 5 of the M25 in
the idyllic village of Ide Hill. The original building dates back to the
early 19th Century which makes it one of the oldest
ale houses in the area, surrounded by other
historical houses and beautiful countryside.
The pub has been tastefully extended over the years
to how it looks today. With its traditional
low beams, real log fires, lit candles on the
tables, soft music, old photos and an abundance of
hops ensures the cosy ambience you want from a
village pub. This is a destination food house
with class. The food can be chosen from the
British main menu, South African menu or range of
Specials from the chalk boards. You will be
served meals which have been prepared from the
freshest of ingredients and cooked to order.
