Wateringbury PhotoThe beautiful village of Wateringbury is the delightful setting for the destination food house known as The Wateringbury.  The name means "swine pasture" or "noisy ones" and the village itself with its old mill dates back to Saxon times!  The traditional style country pub, previously known as the Kings Head, lies on the A26 Tonbridge Road in the Medway Valley and is a very special place to come for that important occasion!  The separate restaurant has 130 covers and offers a really comfortable atmosphere for you to enjoy a relaxed dining experience.  Like all Chef & Brewer pubs we employ high quality Chefs who have superb kitchen skills.  The food can be chosen from a main menu or unique Specials from the chalk boards which allow our Chefs to show their flair!  You will be served meals which have been prepared from the freshest of ingredients and cooked to order.  To complement your meal there is a choice of no less than 20 wines and other drinks are available at the bar.  Children are welcome when dining in the designated area so this can be a family occasion.  If you are looking for a place to stay, the Premier Inn next door should fit the bill.  Come along soon to this pretty part of the world and receive a fine welcome.
