Three Tuns Photo

The Three Tuns is a listed building dating back to the 1600’s, situated on the site of a theatre in the centre of Canterbury.  This traditional looking pub has wooden beams and an open fireplace.  The bar in an island surrounded by small areas, ‘nooks & crannies’, which create a cosy atmosphere for private conversation.  During the day we are popular with business people and shoppers alike who come in for their lunch break and enjoy a meal from the main menu or Specials board along with a drink from the well stocked bar.  In the evening we attract the younger, over eighteens, crowd as we are part of the circuit and have live music at least twice a month.  Next time you are in this famous city be sure to visit us and receive a very warm welcome.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
