St Crispin
Inn is an ancient
and picturesque 15th Century pub built in 1420. Set in the delightful
village of Word in Worth, we are only a mile or so from the mediaeval Cinque
port of Sandwich. This destination food house is well worth travelling
that extra mile to visit. Serving great meals, real ales and offering
Bed and Breakfast accommodation you will not find a place with a warmer
welcome. There is something to suit everyone here being close to golf
clubs, the best fishing grounds in the South East and surrounded by
beautiful walking countryside. We make a very good last stop before
travelling from Dover to Europe. Come and enjoy a memorable meal,
complemented by a glass of wine or real ale next time you are down this way.
You may want to prolong your stay in the accommodation available and allow
us to take the strain. See you soon.
