Situated in the picture postcard village of Cobham you will find
The
Ship. The pretty 1600's building has a 'cared for' appearance with
a garden to the rear and a patio area to the front. Refurbished in March
2008, inside is open plan
and boasts big fire places, candles on the tables and a relaxed ambiance.
You can enjoy a restful drink
and some good conversation without loud music to distract you in this quite
exclusive venue. Food can be chosen from a mixture of traditional
English and modern cuisine along with a Specials board. The variety
includes shoulder of lamb in mint sauce, chablais chicken and beef & ale pie.
There is an extensive range of wines to choose from to accompany your meal
or an excellent selection of real ales if preferred. This is a pub
worthy of travelling a little out of your way to try. Come along soon
and receive your warm welcome from the team at the Ship Inn.
