DINING AT OUR BEEFEATER

Our passion is chargrilling, because we're passionate about food. We only use the finest cuts of steak from traditionally reared cattle fed predominantly on grass to ensure exceptional flavour and tenderness. Our steaks are expertly prepared by a British family run firm of butchers and matured for a minimum of 28 days before being seared on the chargrill for that special Beefeater taste! Today on our menu you'll also find succulent chicken, fish and lamb grills as well as fabulous salads.

The Royal Oak is on the A20 just off Junction 2A of the M26. We are an ideal stopping place for either a short refreshment break or, when taking a trip down to Folkstone to travel to the continent. We re-opened in February 2008 following a full refurbishment. With a mix of warm colours the new look is contemporary & inviting. The bar is separate to the Restaurant and has a relaxed feel with TV & comfy seating. The restaurant where the main menu is served is furnished with leather seating, along with private booths for a more private meal. There are also two feature tables which accommodate 10 people each. Like all Beefeater restaurants we offer an extensive menu with plenty of wholesome dishes to choose from. These will suit all ages and tastes. The bar is well stocked with favourite pints, wines and soft drinks. As we have a Premier Inn all our bedrooms have en-suite facilities at a very reasonable price. A great pub and a great team await you.
