This listed old Roadhouse has been transformed into a high class pub set in Wrotham village serving quality traditional pub food.  The Moat has old wooden beams, high ceilings and chandeliers. Some remember The Banqueting Barn as the old dance hall back in the 40’s & 50’s. This area is full of character and charm and is also licensed to hold Civil Wedding Ceremonies.  This area can seat up to 90 guests for a formal sit down meal or up to 150 guests for a buffet celebration.  Please make an appointment to view the Barn with our events co-ordinator Angie Hunter, so she can discuss any special requirements and answer any questions you might have.  Located on the A20 countryside is all around and is a popular destination food house with us being between the M26 and M20.  We have 250 covers inside and outside and attract a good lunchtime clientele as we are handy for nearby business people.  They can pre-order food so that it is ready on arrival in a busy days schedule.  For families with children the obstacle course provides a very popular diversion during the summer months enabling the adults a chance to relax in the sunshine.  So if you are looking for a meal which is rather special, then the Moat is guaranteed to suit your taste.  Come and sample the character and individuality of this venue soon.
