We had a refurbishment in 2005 which included an upgrading of the dining area. Live Sports new to the Huntsman - watch all premiership matches on the big screen.

The Huntsman is located just five minutes from the centre of the historic town of Rochester which has its own castle and cathedral.  The town has narrow streets lined with antique shops and there is a close connection with Charles Dickens!  The pub has two completely separate bars with their own entrances, allowing one to be used for private functions.  The Huntsman is fairly old, traditional in style with a super fireplace in the lounge bar.  Outside there is a nice beer garden with a children's bouncy castle in the summer and sporting goal posts and toys for the tots.  Although there is no designated baby changing facility, there is adequate space in the Ladies to comfortably change a nappy.  This good community pub is trouble free, safe and family friendly.  Refurbished in August 2004 why not come along soon and see the transformation.  Verity and the friendly team look forward to seeing new faces.
