 The Guinea Butt is a locals bar
situated in the heart of Tunbridge Wells. An old building, the
name is derived from a butt used to hold beer which was sold for a
guinea.
Inside is
just
one area with a traditional olde worlde
style, clean and tidy. The beer garden is popular during the
summer time and you can choose to eat al fresco or even hire the BBQ
area. As well as regular locals we get many tourists and visitors
to the area who join the shoppers and office workers during the day to
have a relaxing meal or a drink from the well stocked bar. This
cannot really be called a circuit pub as people tend to come here and
stay all night. We hold really good entertainment from a weekly
quiz night to fortnightly live music. There is a great trouble
free atmosphere here and newcomers are made to feel welcome by locals
