'CLASSIC CARVERY' DINING AT OUR PUB |
|
We think variety is the
spice of life, so we work closely with our butcher
to bring you a great selection of prime meats all
roasted to perfection.
Today’s roasted meats will be
usually a choice of 3 of the following:
Outdoor bred British gammon, Matured Saxon British
beef, Stuffed belly pork, Norfolk turkey & West
Country shoulder of lamb. All served with a
Yorkshire pudding, chipolata and stuffing,
accompanied by your choice of freshly prepared
vegetables and topped off with lashings of gravy.
Don’t forget to help yourself to our selection of
sauces and mustards.
Monday to Saturday £4.99.
Sunday £7.99.
If you do not fancy a Carvery meal
our Table menu has a comprehensive range of the best pub food
dishes. Why not try our 'Homemade Pie of the Day' served with
chips or mash, peas and gravy or a selection of freshly prepared
vegetables and potatoes from our Carvery. |

The George
is a traditionally styled pub located just off
the A2 on the coast bound carriageway towards Rochester and the Channel
Tunnel at Singlewell. The pub lies just two miles from the historic town of Gravesend and
nine miles
from Diggerland. A superb carvery is served in the 92 cover
restaurant every day and your meal can be enhanced by a choice glass of
wine or a drink from the well stocked bar. Alternatively you may
prefer a lighter option from the bar menu which is provided in the bar
area. There is a Premier Inn next door and many visitors to
the area call in from there and join us for breakfast. This is
available for passers by too. Come and try us next time you are in
the area and receive a really warm welcome. |
