The Chequers
is a Grade II
listed building, built in the 1500's.  Hanging baskets outside make us very inviting and the inside is timeless, retaining authentic timbers from the 1500's.  The pub is a single room with central bar.  Our customers can enjoy quality beers and a wide selection of real ales in comfortable and friendly surroundings.  You will not find a better pint nearby.  We cater for a mixed clientele and because Chequers is situated in the centre of Sevenoaks we are popular with office workers at lunchtime.  We offer a good range of food from our table menu and the Sunday Roast is well worth trying.  Our weekly entertainment creates an excellent ambience and, with a trouble free and female friendly environment, everyone is guaranteed a warm welcome.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
