Voted
as the Top UK Restaurant by Hardens Guide, The
Bull is a superb food house serving high quality traditional
pub meals. We are located in the affluent and very small village
of Otford, proud to be voted the Best Village in Kent for 2004 and 2005.
The pub is also close to the railway station with a 35 minute commute into
London, Victoria. Concentrating on delivering first class standards
our speciality is fish dishes. Like the rest of our meals these
are all fresh, including the 'Catch of the Day'. Like all Chef &
Brewer pubs we employ Chefs who prepare delicious meals not only from
the main extensive menu but monthly changing Specials displayed on
boards in the pub. To ensure you have an enjoyable and pleasant
time the pub is completely non smoking! In the evenings the lights
are turned down and candles are lit on the tables. The two large
fireplaces and original wood panelling, with a carving of Henry VIII and
one of his wives, create a very relaxed and cosy atmosphere. This
is a very old building dating back to 1512. Formerly an Inn we
have masses of history which is displayed on a board inside the pub.
A very special feature to the Bull is our 'wishing chair' which came
from the Bishops Palace in Otford. As the name implies you have to
make a wish when seated on it! Come and
have a glass or bottle of wine, enjoy a chat with friends over your
favourite pint or be made very welcome as diners in the restaurant.
