Photo Coming SoonThe White Lion is located on the High Street in the small town of Sawbridgeworth.  Fully refurbished in January 2008, the pub is a very old building and we have retained original features throughout the renovation.  A one bar operation, there are raised seating areas, new furniture in keeping with the building, a fireplace, wooden beams throughout, solid oak ceiling props and original sash windows.  The outdoor seating area was also improved with the refurbishment.  The whole venue has an appealing look and welcoming atmosphere.  Good pub food is served throughout the day until early evening, from a varied main menu with dishes to suit most tastes.  When you are next in the area, why not come along and enjoy a good night out at the White Lion.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
