In
the rural village of Spellbrook, the Three
Horse Shoes is located between two large towns, one being the historic Bishop Stortford
which is only two miles away.
Part of the Chef & Brewer chain we are an extremely popular food house,
quoted by many of our customers as having a 'home away from home'
atmosphere. Originally a farmhouse, part of the pub is thatched
and dates back over 300 years. This along with the nooks and
crannies, open fires and candle lit dining create an extra special
ambience. Our relaxed environment attracts many different people
from passers by to family groups coming for a quality meal. All
our diners can expect the highest standards with helpful staff here to
offer an exciting extensive menu, additional Chef's specials and wine
from a comprehensive list to complement your chosen dish. All our
meals are cooked to order from the freshest ingredients which ensures
you taste the best of traditional pub food. Our Chefs
also organise a separate fish board with a selection of delicious dishes
including the 'Catch of the Day'. When summer arrives you are
welcome to move to the beer garden which overlooks the brook to one
side. There is also seating for popular al fresco dining.
The team await your visit with anticipation.
