The
Speckled Hen, formerly The Bunch of
Cherries, is the new flagship bar for Greene Kings' new concept urban hot
spot. Located in a residential area about a mile from St Albans city centre
and not far from Hatfield. The pub originally built in 1960 was the first in St Albans. Now it has
an urban modern style and
traditional atmosphere. There is a conservatory where children are
permitted during the day; this can also be used as a function room for
private parties if required. People from all walks of life come here, many
to order a meal from the new main menu which is extremely
popular. Having received an extensive refurbishment in September 2006 and
with the new modern meals which compliment the style of the refurbishment
The Speckled Hen has become the place to see and be seen. Don't forget to pop in next time you are passing. You will be
given a very friendly welcome by this relaxed, helpful team.
