Photo Coming SoonThe Old Post Office, formerly known as Hogs Head, is located in Stevenage town centre within walking distance of hotels and close to the railway station.  Refurbished and given a name change in June 2008, this is a spacious, open plan, venue with large windows across the front of the pub which open up to give a continental feel with pavement seating set out in the summertime.  Inside there are sofas for you to relax alone or with friends and enjoy a drink from the huge selection, which includes cocktails and fine wines and newly introduced in 2008, a selection of real ales.  Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming.  We are popular for Sport, showing all major matches on the big screens.  Claire, the manager, set up the local pub watch scheme so this is a trouble free, female friendly venue. There is a lively tempo over the weekends especially, when the DJ plays a mixture of music on Friday and Saturday nights, and a karaoke to join in with on Sunday.  Come and join in the fun next time you are in town.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
