DINING AT OUR PUB

All of our Carvery joints come from British Red Tractor Assured Farms that ensure the safety and welfare of their animals, whilst protecting and caring for the environment. We only source the very best British meats and seasonal vegetables, so our Carvery offer changes every day.

Today’s roasted meats will be usually a choice of 3 of the following:
Matured Saxon British beef, Norfolk turkey, Stuffed belly of Norfolk pork, Leg of Norfolk pork, Outdoor bred British gammon, West Country shoulder of lamb.
All served with a homemade Yorkshire pudding, chipolata sausage and stuffing. Choose from a selection of freshly prepared vegetables and potatoes. Top it all off with our roast onion (v) or roast meat gravy and selection of sauces and mustards.

Monday to Saturday £5.25. Sunday £7.25.

If you do not fancy a Carvery meal our Table menu has a comprehensive range of the best pub food dishes. Why not try our 'Homemade Pie of the Day' served with your choice of Carvery vegetables.

New River Arms is an impressive 75 year old venue just off the A10 close to Waltham Abbey in Turnford. If you are visiting the Abbey, why not round off your day by joining us. We are very popular for our food which includes our Great British Carvery served daily - people travel quite a way to dine here. We have a good clientele of regular locals too. Our food is made of quality ingredients which can be enjoyed with a drink from a great selection of wines, beers and the increasingly more popular real ale. Inside is quite open plan so there is an airy feel which gives a relaxed atmosphere in which to dine or enjoy your pint.
