 The Ludwick Arms is a community led pub situated in a
residential area just outside Welwyn Garden City. Built in the mid fifties
the pub has quite a modern appearance and having had a refurbishment in Spring
2005 there is new furniture and a big fireplace to give a welcoming
ambiance. This sociable venue is now trouble free and female friendly,
encouraging all to enjoy a drink, good conversation, a tasty meal, entertainment
and Sport. Sport is top of the agenda with all major matches shown on the
plasma screen and other TVs around the bar. We also have two pool tables and
a darts board for those with a good eye! Meals are served from a main menu
with an excellent selection of wines to accompany your meal. Food can be
eaten anywhere in the pub or outside in the garden during the summer
months, which has a play area with climbing frame, slide etc for the young ones. The pub is set back from the road and now has CCTV inside and out
to ensure our trouble free status is maintained. With all sorts of new
entertainment planned this is a venue to be tried very soon.
