 The Harvest
Moon, formerly known as Piggots Farm, is an old listed Farm
House which has been tastefully restored. Our cosmetic
refurbishment in March 2007 has given us an elegant yet modern look, and
a warmer, more inviting feel. We have retained the character of the original features like the beams and
fire places. The Harvest Moon is a Quality Local with a
comfortable, relaxed atmosphere that is both female friendly and trouble
free. We are very well supported by the local residents and their families. The pub's large beer garden and heated patio area are very popular, especially during the summer
when BBQ's are held. We also have a heated patio area at the rear
which is often used for private functions such as buffets for as many as 200 people. Harvest Moon won the coveted 'Pub of the Year'
for Real Pubs Division 2002 and 2003.
