Chef & BrewerIn the wonderful location of Great Offley, the Green Man offers you an establishment with superb food and drink available every day.  Situated on a hill between Luton and Hitchin the pub and it's garden have splendid views, especially on clear days when you can see over three counties.  From the village the Hertfordshire countryside can be seen for 5 miles.  Dating back to the 15th Century this Chef & Brewer pub has been many things in its time from a private residence to a post office.  Renowned for its cuisine, come and enjoy traditional pub food suitable for the whole family, prepared from the freshest of ingredients.  Our very popular chef takes great pride in her work.  She can claim to have produced more than a million meals over the past six / seven years since she started here!  You can eat anywhere in the pub including the conservatory and during the summer al fresco in the beer garden.  The pub has very comfortable surrounding with three real open fires and candlelit dining.  You are welcome to come for just a drink from the bar which includes an excellent selection of wines, beers and real ales.  This Chef & Brewer will never disappoint so why not choose us soon as your next venue.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
