 The Duncombe
is located in Hertford town centre, next to
the shopping precinct and a stones throw from Hertford Castle - a great
place for days in the park or canal walks. Outside we have the
largest beer garden in Hertford, plus a patio area to the front and
back. This is 'the' place to meet up
with friends, enjoy a meal or catch the match. We have a fresh
day-to-night bar experience with traditional interior and exterior.
Inside there are separate zoned areas. Popular with Sport
enthusiasts, the match of the moment can be viewed on the many
screens in the sports area. If you want to enjoy a quiet drink
there is a relaxed area with comfy chairs. Alternatively,
during the week we are known for relaxed dining. Food is
chosen from a main menu or Specials board and your meal can be
complemented by a quality wine or real ale, served to perfection.
The weekly entertainment is very popular with our many regular
locals and clientele of all ages. The venue livens up later in the evening, particularly at the weekend,
giving a great party atmosphere.
