Cock Photo

The Cock is situated on the High Street of Hitchin town centre, a small attractive market town.  It was an old Coaching Inn which dates back to 1563.  We have many tourists come to view it and it is part of the town's Ghost Walk tour.  We serve meals every day from an upmarket Greene King's Town City menu selection as well as choices from our daily Specials board.  There is a warm, friendly traditional atmosphere here for regulars and passers by alike.  We offer good food at reasonable prices, an extensive wine list and a good range of beers and lagers.
