Battle Axes PhotoThe Battle Axes, offering all the facilities for a great time, is set in a rural location with a pretty outlook.  The building is listed, retaining much of it's traditional style.  Having a single room layout the conservatory to the rear leads onto a garden. We are mainly known as being a food house.  Like all Chef & Brewer pubs we employ high quality Chefs who have superb kitchen facilities.  The food can be chosen from a main menu or unique Specials from the chalk boards which allow our Chefs to show their flair!  To complement your meal there is an extensive choice of quality wines.   This is an ideal family venue with play equipment outside and a safe, warm and friendly environment.  Parents with young babies are catered for as well as us having excellent access for wheelchair users.  Whether you come for a meal in the garden during the summer or a cosy chat with friends in the winter, you will be more than welcome at the Battle Axes.  Our excellent team look forward to seeing you.
