If you are looking for a historic
building with high quality food and drink and a great atmosphere on offer then
this pub is ideal for you. The Anchor is
a listed building, formerly a Coaching Inn. The Anchor has a restaurant with very high standards of cuisine and service in place to ensure
you are completely satisfied. Originally 2 houses this restaurant caters
for all ages, with families always welcome. The pub has a boat and
fishing theme running throughout which creates a pleasant olde worlde
atmosphere. On 2 levels and therefore sadly not very wheelchair friendly
the pub is sectioned off with 4 - 6 tables in each section. A beamed
ceiling is visible and therefore please mind your head! Located next to
the river in this attractive village you can always have your food served
outside on our picnic tables.
