The Heart of Oak is a large, open plan pub situated in the heart of Hereford town centre just a short walk from Hereford United FC. We are also close to local attractions such as the Cider Museum and Cathedral with a retail park and leisure centre nearby. Traditional looking on the outside, there is quite a modern ambiance inside. The venue is well segregated with a Sports area offering large screens to watch the major matches and a separate pool room to enjoy a game with friends over a favourite pint. Since the introduction of home cooked meals in 2005, the food has become increasingly popular as are the superb Sunday lunches. You are welcome to dine anywhere in the pub or outside in the garden during the summer. This trouble free, female friendly pub is also family orientated and the relaxed atmosphere makes it a good place to come for couples to enjoy a quiet drink or meal.
