White Swan PhotoThe White Swan is a destination pub set in a superb semi-rural, picturesque location right on the river at West End. Situated on the A27 with easy access to the M27 we are just five minutes from the airport, not far from the Rose Bowl Cricket Ground and only ten minutes from the centre of Southampton.  A major refurbishment was completed in May 2007.  We are now a contemporary venue, with a relaxed informal atmosphere throughout.  We find people are now coming for pre-meal drinks, followed by a meal, then staying on in the bar for after dinner drinks.  Bright and airy, with creams and browns, there is plenty of fixed seating alongside lounge seating and high tables and chairs.  With free Wi-Fi access, you can come along for a cup of coffee or a refreshing drink, while doing a bit of surfing or work on your laptop.  Our riverside location with patio area is the perfect place to enjoy the summer with food served outside, weather permitting.  Many people come for the setting as it is such a lovely spot and the children are able to feed the ducks on the river.  The daily carvery is renowned as delicious, with up to five roasts served and usually a choice of nine fresh vegetables.  Come and join us soon and try it for yourselves.  Most of the staff have been with us for some time, and are all very friendly and helpful.  You will not be disappointed.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
