Shamblehurst Barn Photo

On the fringe of Southampton, this very large pub has been a public house since 1979.  In Henry VIII's era it was a barn for a large farm.  Still retaining its olde worlde charm The Shamblehurst Barn has plenty of character with a massive fireplace.  We are now a Hungry Horse pub offering all customers of any age wonderful value for money meals which can be chosen from an extensive menu.  The pub has an enclosed garden and baby changing facilities making us ideal for families.  As well as the food we have a fine selection of beers, real ales and other drinks.  These can be enjoyed in the upstairs bar, the bar on ground level or our restaurant.  We have disabled access and a trouble free, female friendly atmosphere.  As well as all this there is entertainment for sports fans with live matches shown on the big screen.  The pub is just outside the rural village of Hedge End and is only one minutes walk from the railway station.  Time at this pub is guaranteed to be pleasurable and will make you want to come back for more.
