Refurbished in Autumn 2011, The
Rose & Crown is a
superb example of a traditional forest inn, set in a
pretty cottage garden. Dating back to the 13th
century the welcome it offers visitors to the New Forest
is as warm now as it has been through the centuries.
Accommodation consists of 14 contemporary en-suite bedrooms, some of which are
delightfully located in a converted stable block.
All rooms have free Wi-Fi and flat screen TVs and
are decorated to a high standard. The pub has an
attractive and extensive garden area which allows for al
fresco dining in its truest sense. The food served
is renowned for its quality, whether it’s a carvery, a
traditional meal or a bar snack. All meals can be
complemented with a selection of cask ales and excellent
