The Rising Sun
at
Warsash is about six miles from Southampton city centre and has a lovely
location on the River Hamble. Parts of the building date back 200
years and the pub is on two floors with the restaurant
upstairs, which has big feature
French windows offering stunning views over the river. There are
about 70 covers here and a further 30 downstairs in the more traditional
bar area. This is both a good destination food house and a very
popular venue to have a drink. We attract custom from the sailing
club next door, where they moor up close by and also visitors from
further afield as we are close to M27 junction 9 (Fareham West). With an excellent
choice of quality food, a good selection of well kept real ales and other liquid
refreshment, this is a pub to be visited in the near
future. |
