Old Beams Inn PhotoOld Beams Inn is a very attractive old village pub in the centre of the New Forest with country views of horses in the fields all around.  This thatched building dates back to the 6th Century and the name is derived from a 13th Century beam which is rumoured to still be here!  Inside is one room with lots of olde worlde nooks and crannies to encourage good conversation.  Now fully non-smoking for your comfort.  With the main emphasis on food we are famed for it being fresh, homemade and good value.  Everything is made from fresh ingredients and prepared in-house.  Even the salmon and BBQ ribs are home-smoked!  The steak and ale pie has to be tasted as does the baked apple surprise sweet.  Both homemade of course!  If your mouth is watering and you are not too far away come and join the friendly locals and the passers by who are in the know.  Russell and the helpful team look forward to your visit.
