Chef & BrewerThe Fox & Hounds is a very old pub located in a rural area of Hungerford on the A27.  The front of the building dates back to the 16th Century.  To the back, the old barn was actually moved from Winchester to its present position and dates from 1871.  Very much to the Chef & Brewer style this pub has quiet corners for privacy, candles lit on the tables and open fires to give winter warmth.  Available everyday, we offer our diners a superb selection of quality meals. These are prepared from fresh ingredients by our experienced Chefs.  During the summer you can enjoy your meal al fresco on the patio, weather permitting.  Make sure you call in soon and enjoy a tasty meal, complemented by a fine wine or real ale served to perfection.  Alternatively we hold a weekly quiz which is well worth a try.  See you soon.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
